La Violeta Africana

The African Violet

Today I want to talk to you about a flower that I really like, African violets. I have two plants in my house and I make jewelry with them. I also love how they look pressed.

African violets symbolise innocence, eternal love, modesty, spiritual wisdom, mysticism, and remembrance. In addition, in Christian history, violets were considered an emblem of humility, and they live for many years, so they are given as a symbol of fidelity. They can live up to 50 years!

Care

They are an indoor plant, but they need light and to be away from drafts. The ideal temperature is between 17 and 25 degrees , but care must be taken that the temperature where they are located does not fall below 5 degrees.

As for watering , the violets need moisture but not too much water. If the soil looks dry, you can put a bowl of water underneath so that it absorbs it, but you should never wet its leaves.
