Flowers of Asturias

For a year now I have been travelling frequently to Asturias, discovering the wonderful flowers and plants that there are, as well as very different from the rest of Spain.

I went to a special area called Cabo de Peñas, I was particularly surprised to see aerohalophilic flowers, meaning they are resistant to salts and also the incredible  views. 

Since it is a protected area, I did not collect flowers, but I did take photographs that I show you here.

In addition to Cabo de Peñas, flowers can be seen along the roads, gardens and parks, my favorite being the hydrangea! Also you can find beautiful white daises and callas (alcatraces).
